Only a week to go now until the 2011 SixWays... looking forward to seeing you all in Matamata.

A program for the day can be found in Newsletter 7, available to download on the right.

We will have sale tables, raffles and the venue has a licensed bar which will be open at lunch and at the end of the SixWays formalities. There is no eftpos at the venue tough, all transactions are cash only.

A reminder that if you haven't pre-registered, the cost of the day is $15.00.

Craig Robertson of Fullframe Photography in Rotorua is our Key Note Speaker. Craig is a master NZIPP and their current president. He has a background in corporate communications and is a family man who enjoys outdoor activities. You can view some of Craigs work at www.fullframe.co.nz

The 2011 Sixways will be held on Sunday July 3rd, 2011.

The venue will be the Musical Theatre, Kea Street, Matamata.
(off Highway 24, on the Tauranga side of Matamata)

Images may be submitted as follows;
- As prints, matted and mounted with finished article no larger than 50 x 40 cm.
- As projected images, maximum size 1024 x 768 pixels with the vertical side at 768 pixels.

Image submissions are to be well packed by the submitting club, and to be accompanied by the name, address, phone number, and if possible email address, of a club contact person. Digital submissions must be on CD/DVD.

The final date for receiving image submissions is 30 April 2011.

The Matamata Camera Club believes in the following principles in the selection of images by each participating club:

   - this is an 'Open' competition. There is no theme and each image shall be judged solely on it's own merit.
   - a maximum of 15 images from each club.
   - the set of 15 should represent the cross section of each club's members.
   - club submissions may be print or digital or a combination of these.
   - one image from each club member.
